Samsung will introduce a smartphone successor to Galaxy S II, the Galaxy S III. Not only that, Samsung will also begin production of smartphones that use the 3-dimensional (3D) The first-named Galaxy S 3D.
According ETNews, the site from South Korea, the two smartphones that will be introduced at the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, Spain, in February 2012.
For the Galaxy S III, ETNews reported that the smartphone will be equipped with quad-core processors (four core) 1.8 GHz.
Rumors last mentioned, the processor in the Galaxy S III will use a processor Exynos4412 ARM-based quad-core Cortex A9. LTE connectivity and of course, running on Android’s latest Ice Cream Sandwich firmware (with TouchWiz). Still unclear is if the 3D functionality will be available on all Galaxy S III devices or if it will come as a variant (Galaxy S 3D). That being said, to keep costs down, if the 3D model becomes a variant, it could share specs more along the lines of what’s already offered with the Galaxy S II.
As quoted from unwiredview.com, Galaxy S III will have a AMOLED screen Super Pluswith HD quality (1280 x 720), supporting LTE. In addition, Galaxy S III will be equipped with a 12 MP camera and 2 GB of RAM.
As for Galaxy S will be equipped with a 3D camera capable of taking 3D images and 3Dvideo recording. 3D content can also be integrated into the 3D television technology. Reportedly, 3D S Galaxy will be launched in the second quarter of 2012.
